About me

Hi, I’m María José, founder of Mintaka Jade.

For years, I felt disconnected from my body, struggling with self-criticism and temporary fixes that never lasted.

Breathwork helped me release tension and feel grounded. Self-compassion taught me to treat myself kindly and listen to my body. Personal style became a tool to express my true self and see my body differently.

Together, these practices helped me feel lighter, more present, and more like myself — and now I guide others to do the same.

’m a certified Kundalini Yoga Teacher (KRI) & Personal Stylist, with advanced training in Eating Disorders and Body Image at the University of Utah. I’m currently training in conscious breathwork to deepen the support I offer.

I bring over a decade of experience in fashion and personal styling, advanced yoga training in breath techniques, and experience working with clients in English and Spanish. Every space I create is compassionate, human-centered, and designed for true transformation.
